Ted Guberman
Ted Guberman
        Attorney At Law

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College, Mr. Guberman earned two more degrees; a Master of Arts, and a Candidate In Philosophy, from the University of California at Berkeley. In 1976, he received his Juris Doctorate degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

While in law school, Mr. Guberman published two articles in the Urban Law Annual, a law review journal. He immediately went to work for the St. Louis City Public Defender, handling misdemeanors for all the Public Defender clients. After just eighteen months, he was appointed Chief Public Defender of Jefferson County, and personally represented virtually all of the Public Defender clients charged with serious felonies, as well as misdemeanors. He has handled over ten murder cases, dozens of assaults, sexual offenses, and thousands of drug and alcohol cases. He has also won sizable judgments for his Workers Compensation, Personal Injury, and Medical Malpractice clients. He has been elected President of the Jefferson County Bar Association, and because of his wide-ranging experience over thirty years, is recognized as one of the leading attorneys in Jefferson County.
